Groundhog Day...
Almost three years on, we're back in Jo's driveway, and I mightn't be the sharpest tool in the
shed but I'm pretty sure we doubled back somewhere. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to have more time with Kree after
the Somerset stint, and she tells me we're heading north when the weather improves. The good news is I'm getting a
new lifevest (not that I'm scared you understand...it's a staffy thing, heavy in the top end and short neck =
vertical swimming style). I'll post some photos soon.

Kree says if it's good enough for Kevin...
then she can also say sorry for not updating the website and keeping in touch with people over the last 10 months. And
while we're at it, I might as well apologise for this little mishap last week... seriously my toenail got caught
on a thread! Now that our busy season's over, we're going to start revamping the website (and ourselves), so stay
tuned folks!

It's been a while...
...but
we're coming home! Well, sort of. Yep, we're heading back to Queensland to manage Lake Somerset Holiday Park
(I'll be 'on the door'). I've got two days to work out how to beat Kree's mum to the passenger's
seat (she's doing the trip up with us). Six hours on the floor of a moving big rig is not my idea of fun people!

Don't be fooled...
...by
that scene in the movies, where a group of friends sleeps on the beach, wakes up to the sunrise for an early surf, then cooks
the fish caught the night before. Kree, Sarah and Gill left me in the bus the other night, took their boards down
(and a cheap cask)...apparently swam at midnight and woke up spooning like the three monkeys...with blue feet (the empty
bladder a few metres down the beach)! Not sure that really fits in with the 'wellbeing' philosophy Kree...
:-)

We're having a baby....
Okay, so it's not us technically but our new bosses are and I'm being told that I'm going to have learn
to share. Not happy people! I'm settling into park life just nicely thanks and getting all the
attention from everyone. Hmmm, I need a new 'hook'...maybe I'll take up surfing. Seems to have worked for this
guy...check out his website (click image).

Arrawarra Beach Holiday Park (just north of Coffs, NSW Ph: 02-6649 2753 ) ...awesome location and really
friendly managers who score extra points for calling me 'big fella'. Organic store nearby:
Cherry Haven, Emerald Beach 02-6656 2020 + local markets at Woolgoolga, Coffs and Bellingen.
Bellingen Showgrounds (inland from Coffs region, NSW Ph: 02-6655 9199)...they say magic happens in Bellingen! Organic
store nearby: Kombu Wholefoods, Bellingen 02-6655 9299
Corindi Beach Holiday Park (just north of Coffs, NSW Ph: 02-6649 2803)...equal to Arrawarra, right on the headland/beach, very
relaxed. Organic store nearby: see Arrawarra
Gold Coast Holiday Park (Helensvale, Qld Ph: 07-5573 1185)... central to Brisbane and the Gold Coast - dog-friendly parks are
limited in the area and it's got great facilities. Organic store nearby: The Organic Foodstore, Oxenford 07-5580
4666 (just across the Freeway)
Jo's
Driveway (Sunny Coast hinterland)...our personal fave, cheap (okay, free), fresh garden produce at the door,
and definitely dog friendly...although she might have a problem when ten vans turn up to stay.
Pomona
Showgrounds (Pomona, Qld Ph: 07-5485 1477)...adjacent the caravan park, really cheap and picturesque overlooking
Mt Cooroora.
